WRITTEN COMMUNICATION On motion of Councilman <br />TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY Griset, seconded by <br />COMMITTEE Councilman Evans, and <br /> unanimously carried, <br />Council received and ordered filed the letter from the <br />Orange County Transit District dated December 24, 1973, <br />recommending representative and alternate to the Transporta- <br />tion Advisory Committee. (CA 29.10a) <br /> <br />WRITTEN COMMUNICATION On motion of Councilman <br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION Griset, seconded by <br />AGENCY PARKING SURCHARGE Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> and carried unanimously, <br />Council received and ordered filed the telegram response from <br />Senator John V. Tunney dated December 28, 1973, to City's <br />letter dated December $, 1973 regarding EPA Transportation <br />Control Proposals. (CA 145.8a) <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS Council authorized <br />REIMBURSEMENT reimbursement in the <br /> amount of $3,120, to <br /> Chrysler Leasing <br />Corporation for installation of street improvements on <br />MacArthur Boulevard, on the unanimously approved motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Garthe. (CA 29.4) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY CHILDREN'S Council denied the <br />CONCERTS request for funds from <br /> Temple Beth Sholom <br /> for Community Children's <br />Concerts, which had been referred to staff on December 17, <br />1973, on motion of Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman <br />Evans, and carried, with Mayor Patterson dissenting. <br />(CA 9.4) <br /> <br />SINGLE FAMILY PLANNED Council received the <br />RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTS interim report from <br /> the City Attorney dated <br /> December 31, 1973, and <br />the Mayor requested that it be combined with a similar report <br />forthcoming from the Planning Department, and simultaneously <br />submitted to Council in February, 1974. (CA 78.8) <br /> <br />AGENDA ORDER <br /> <br />to the evening'meeting. <br /> <br />By informal unanimous <br />consent, Council postponed <br />consideration of Item 58 <br />on the public Agenda <br /> <br />DISPOSITION OF On motion of Councilman <br />WAFFLE HOUSE Evans, seconded by <br /> Councilman Garthe, and <br /> carried unanimously, <br />Council continued consideration of the disposition of the <br />Waffle House to the Regular Meeting of January 21, 1974, as <br />requested by the Cultural Heritage Evaluation Committee in a <br />letter dated January 3, 1974.
