TENTATIVE TRACT M_AP Council continued a <br />& PARCEL MAP CONDITIONS report from the City <br /> Attorney regarding <br /> Tentative Tract Map and <br />Parcel Map Conditions, by informal unanimous consent. <br /> <br />RIVERVIEW GOLF COURSE On motion of Councilman <br /> Evans, seconded by <br /> Councilman Ward, and <br /> carried, with Councilman <br />Yamamoto dissenting, Council approved the recommendations in <br />the report from the City Manager dated January 3, 1974, and <br />instructed the City Attorney to amend the existing agreement <br />between the City and Novel B. James dated August 21, 1961, <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1) Establish $6,000 as the base annual amount of rent <br /> payable to the City of Santa Ana for 1972 and 1973; <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Revise method of calculating gross receipts to a <br />basis upon which the City's percentage applies <br />to one-half of the total sales and services <br />(excluding foods and merchandise) from the ex- <br />panded course (from nine holes to eighteen holes); <br />and when the river is flooded or otherwise not <br />utilized for playing golf, the percentage <br />applicable to the City applies to the total <br />green fees collected during the period of reduced <br />area playing; <br /> <br />Authorize the sale of beer and wine on leased <br />premises and provide that 2% of the gross receipts <br />from this kind of sale be paid to the City, in <br />addition to the amount in 2 above; <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1974, change the date for <br />reporting of gross receipts from quarterly to <br />monthly, with payments to be made to the City by <br />the 20th of the following month. <br /> <br />(Agreement, 8-21-61) <br /> <br />CONDEMNATION On the unanimously <br />CASE SETTLEMENT carried motion of <br />KOTLAR Councilman Griset, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br />Evans, Council approved the following deed and authorized <br />the Mayor to sign all necessary documents in connection with <br />the purchase: <br /> <br />KOTLAR, WS/French Street at Civic Center Drive; <br />street purposes.
