Waddell <br />addressed the Council, <br />Clinic operation, its involvements, <br />clinic is primarily involved in <br /> educational and <br /> (CA 9.3) <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Councilman Ward moved to <br />APPEAL NO. 337 & DRAFT accept the withdrawal of <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT Appeal No. 337 by the <br />VA 73-61 applicant; to refer the <br /> matter back to the <br />Planning Commission and the Planning Department staff; and <br />to waive any further fees. Councilman Griset seconded the <br />motion, and it carried, with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting. <br />(CA 13.3) <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING The Mayor opened the <br />APPEAL NO. 338 & public hearing to con- <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION sider Appeal No. 338 and <br />CUP 74-1 Negative Declaration for <br /> CUP 74-1, filed by Mr. <br />Tom Anderson, appealing the Planning Commission denial of Con- <br />ditional Use Permit No. 74-1, to construct a mobile home park <br />in the M 1 District at 1300 North Clinton Street. The Planning <br />Director reviewed the Findings of Fact made by the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />The following persons spoke in favor of the Appeal: <br /> <br />Edward E. Mozer, 1825 W. Southgate Ave., Fullerton, <br />representing the appellant, Mr. Anderson <br /> <br />Obby Agins, 1208 W. Chase Drive, Corona <br /> <br />Robert T. Connors, 9336 Katella, Anaheim <br /> <br />The proponents stated that the property was not suitable for <br />other uses; that the Mi zone is compatible with a mobile home <br />park; that the area is predominantly residential (apartments); <br />that the proposal conforms to the General Plan of the City; <br />that a mobile home development, such as the one proposed for <br />working adults, would enhance the area; that the design of the <br />park is good with good traffic flow, and recreational facili- <br />ties; and that there is a need for this type of development in <br />this area. <br /> <br />Mr. Mozer filed the following documents with the Council: <br /> <br />A letter dated February 25, 1974, from Buena Vista <br />Mobile Sales requesting reservation of 1S spaces in <br />the proposed mobile park; <br /> <br />A statement signed by 49 residents of the neighborhood <br />recommending approval of the Conditional Use Permit <br />for the mobile home park; <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />77 FEBRUARY 25, 1974 <br /> <br /> <br />
