A letter dated February 11, 1974, from Allison Honer <br />Co., adjacent property owner, in favor of the mobile <br />home park. <br /> <br />The following person spoke in opposition to the Appeal: <br /> <br />Edward Daniell, Jr., 777 Anoakia Lane, Arcadia <br /> <br />He stated that he was opposed to the mobile home park because <br />the area sewer capacity does not have the capability of <br />handling the sewage even though he agreed that it would be <br />an improvement to the area. <br /> <br />The Clerk of the Council read a telegram received at 7:45 P.M., <br />from Kenneth Dean Johnson, owner of KD Johnson Trucking, <br />1506 North Clinton Street, objecting to the mobile home park <br />and a report of a telephone call from Terry Lantz, Senior <br />Administrator, City of Garden Grove, in which he requested the <br />City to deny the CUP application and that in the event of <br />approval to require the construction of an 18' high fence <br />separating the applicant's property and the Willowick Golf <br />Course. <br /> <br />There were no other proponents or opponents, and the Mayor <br />closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilman Griset moved to receive and file the Negative <br />Declaration; to uphold the decision of the Planning Commission; <br />and to instruct the City Attorney to prepare a resolution <br />denying.Appeal No. 338 and CUP 74-1 for the next meeting. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Garthe, and carried <br />unanimously. (CA 13.4) <br /> <br />UNION HALL AND MOBILE Councilman Griset moved <br />HOME PARK AGREEMENT to receive and file the <br /> reports dated February <br /> 12 and 21, 1974, regard- <br />ing implementation of terms of the Union Hall and Villa Grande <br />Mobile Home Park agreement. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Evans, and carried unanimously. (CA 127) <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL Councilman Yamamoto was <br />DELEGATE & ALTERNATE appointed delegate to <br /> the Community Development <br /> Council, and Councilman <br />Evans was appointed alternate, on motion of Councilman Garthe, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried with Councilman Markel <br />dissenting. (CA 140.6) <br /> <br />RECREATION AND PARKS Mr. Carl Schwarz, 702 <br />BOARD APPOINTMENT Mabury Street, was <br /> appointed to the Recrea- <br /> tion and Parks Board <br />to serve the unexpired term of Wesley Humphrey through June 30, <br />1974, on the unanimously approved motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Griset. (CA 52.2) <br /> <br />AGREEMENT The City Attorney re- <br />WILLOWICK GOLF COURSE ported his approval as <br />to form of the agreement <br />between the City and the <br />City of Garden Grove. The agreement was approved and its <br />execution by the Mayor and Clerk was authorized on motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Garthe, and unanimously <br />carried.
