PERSONNEL BOARD <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />vacancy created by the <br />a term ending June 30, <br />motion of Councilman Griset, <br />(CA 50.8) <br /> <br />Mrs. Lynda Ferris <br />was appointed to the <br />Board of Recreation <br />and Parks to fill the <br />resignation of Mrs. Lois MacKay, for <br />1976, on the unanimously approved <br /> seconded by Councilman Evans. <br /> <br />HUMAN RELATIONS Mrs. Mildred Cobb was <br />COMMISSION APPOINTMENT appointed to the Human <br /> Relations Commission <br /> to fill the vacancy <br />created by the resignation of John Martin, for a term ending <br />on June 30, 1974, on the unanimously approved motion of <br />Councilman Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans. ~A 131.2) <br /> <br />RECESS At 5:10 P.M., Council <br /> recessed for Executive <br /> Session and dinner at <br /> Reubens, by unanimous <br />informal consent. Council reconvened at 7:30 P.M. ~i%h all <br />Councilmen present. Mayor Patterson led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was given by Fatker Cannon, <br />St. Anne's Church. (CA 80.17) <br /> <br />BARBERSHOP QUARTET Mayor Patterson pre- <br />PROCLAMATION sented Mr. John Zack <br /> and Mr. Roman Di Meo, <br /> of the Santa Ana <br />Chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement <br />of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, With a copy of <br />Proclamation declaring April 7 to April 13 National SPEBSQSA <br />Week. Members of the Quartet favored the Council and audience <br />with a demonstration of their talents.
