(A-74-72) <br /> <br />CONSULTANT SERVICES - Between the City and <br />Boyle Engineering Corporation for engineering <br />services for the planning and construction of <br />Project 8077, a sewer in Harbor Boulevard <br />and MacArthur Boulevard, approximately 1750 <br />feet in length. (A-74-74) <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />SANTA ANA JAYCEES <br />ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE <br /> <br />on motion of Councilman Evans, <br />and unanimously carried: <br /> <br /> Council approved and <br /> authorized the Mayor <br /> and Clerk to execute <br /> the following agreement <br />seconded by Councilman Griset, <br /> <br />SANTA ANA ANNUAL FROLIC CHRISTMAS PARADE - <br />Between the City and the Santa Ana Junior <br />Chamber of Commerce to defray a portion of <br />the cost of advertising, preparing for, <br />holding, and conducting the 1974 Santa <br />Ana Frolic Christmas Parade. (A-74-75) <br /> <br />VARIANCE 74-28 Council received and <br />PACIFIC LIGHTING ordered filed Negative <br />LEASING COMPANY Declaration Form and <br /> Planning Commission <br />Finding of Fact on the following, on motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried with dissent- <br />ing vote by Councilman Markel: <br /> <br />VA 74-28 PACIFIC LIGHTING LEASING COMPANY - <br />To permit construction of a 30-unit motel <br />and manager's apartment with off-street <br />parking that does not meet the off-street <br />parking requirements, 2700 South Grand <br />Avenue in the M t District. APPROVED. (CA 13) <br /> <br />VARIANCE 74-30 Councilman Ward's motion, <br />CALVARY EVANGELICAL seconded by Mayor Patter- <br />LUTHERAN CHURCH, ET AL son, to receive and file <br /> the Negative Declaration <br />Form and Planning Commission Finding of Fact, approving <br />Variance 74-30 failed to carry on the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Ward, Garthe, Patterson <br /> <br />NOES: Yamamoto, Evans, Griset, Markel <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />VA 74-30, filed by Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, et al, <br />to construct a private tennis club in the R 1 zone, waiving <br />the required integration of parking facilities; and to allow <br />an on-site liquor license within 300' of property zoned and <br />used for residential, on the northwest corner of Euclid Street <br />and McFadden Avenue, approved by the Planning Commission, was <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 385 OCTOBER 14, 1974 <br /> <br /> <br />
