GREENBELT CORRIDOR Letter dated October 3, <br />LANDSCAPE GUIDE 1974, from the Chairman <br /> of Santa Aha River/ <br /> Santiago Creek Greenbelt <br />Commission, requesting adoption of the Santa Aha River/Santiago <br />Creek Landscape Guide as a basic reference in the development <br />of landscape plans within the Greenbelt Corridor was received <br />by Council. <br /> <br />Councilman Ward's motion to adopt the Santa Ana River/Santiago <br />Creek Landscape Guide as a basic reference in the development <br />of landscape plans within the private and public belt in the <br />Greenbelt Corridor, and to make it available to any individual <br />upon request, was seconded by Councilman Evans, and unanimously <br />carried. (CA 145.1) <br /> <br />BATTIN-KIRK APPEAL FROM Council received and <br />BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS ordered filed Letter of <br />825 NORTH ROSS STREET Clarification, dated <br /> October 10, 1974, to <br />Mr. Lawrence Kirk from Supervisor, Building Inspectors; letter <br />from City Attorney's office dated October 14, 1974; and <br />Memorandum dated October 14, 1974, from the City Attorney's <br />office to the Council, on motion of Councilman Ward, seconded <br />by Councilman Evans, and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />The motion included approval of that portion of the Council <br />Minutes of September 9, 1974, on pages 338-340, entitled <br />"Public Hearing Appeal from Building Code Requirements", <br />which had been continued from the October 7 meeting. (CA 87.1) <br /> <br />COUNCIL REFERRAL ITEM 128 Council received and <br />RECREATION FACILITY FOR ordered filed the follow- <br />THE HANDICAPPED ing report on Council <br /> referral item 128, and <br />instructed the Clerk to delete it from the Council Referral <br />Summary, on the unanimously approved motion of Councilman <br />Griset, seconded by Councilman Evans: <br /> <br />Referral Item 128 - Recreation Facility for the <br />Handicapped. (CA 52) <br /> <br />PROPOSED COUNTY FUNDING The report dated October <br />REGIONAL BIKEWAY 8, 1974, from the Planning <br />PROGRAM Director regarding a <br /> proposed substitute pro- <br />gram for the County funding of regional bikeway construction <br />was received by Council. <br /> <br />Councilman Griset's motion, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, <br />to approve the substitute County funding approach for construc- <br />tion of regional bikeways, was unanimously carried.
