Include the costs of the two railroad crossings <br />in the 1975-76 budget in anticipation of receiving <br />PUC approval of the crossings within the next budget <br />period; <br /> <br />Delete item 175 from the Council Referral Summary. <br /> <br />CA 29.12 <br /> <br />OLD CITY HALL AGREEMENT <br />DEL PUEBLO MANAGEMENT <br />& DEVELOPMENT CO. <br /> <br />This item was deferred <br />by the Mayor until <br />later in the meeting. <br /> <br />PROPOSED UNDERGROUND <br />UTILITY DISTRICT NO. <br />17TH STREET, ROSS TO <br />BRISTOL STREETS <br /> <br />seconded by Councilman Griset. <br /> <br />The Council unanimously <br />set this matter for <br />public hearing February <br />18, 1975 on the motion <br />of Councilman Garthe, <br /> CA 134 <br /> <br />GOALS & OBJECTIVES Councilman Griset moved <br />BOARD OF RECREATION and Councilman Ward <br />& PARKS seconded a motion to <br /> receive and file the <br />report of the Board of Recreation and Parks setting goals <br />and objectives and to instruct the Mayor to write a letter <br />of formal notice of Council's enthusiastic approval. The <br />motion carried unanimously. CA 52.2 <br /> <br />BIKE FACILITY The Council approved <br />LOS ALISOS PARK unanimously Councilman <br /> Ward's motion, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br />Griset, to approve the concept of a bike "park and ride" <br />facility and to recommend County funding to develop and main- <br />tain the site as a regional facility for the Santa Ana Bike <br />and Equestrian trails. The concept had received earlier <br />approval from the Santa Aha Citizens Greenbelt Committee, <br />the Board of Recreation and Parks and the Planning Commis- <br />sion. CA 18.6 <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT On motion by Council- <br />ALIGNMENT OF MEMORY LANE man Griset, seconded <br />& LAWSON WAY by Councilman Yama- <br /> moto, with Councilmen <br />Ward and Bricken dissenting, the Council approved the draft <br />E.I.R. as the Final Environmental Impact Report for alignment <br />of Memory Lane and Lawson Way between Main and Santiago <br />Streets. Councilmen Ward and Bricken stated their opinion <br />that the report did not deal adequately with the impact to <br />Santiago Park. CA 29.7 <br /> <br />PARAMEDIC & The Council approved <br />CRIME ABATEMENT unanimously the motion <br />PROGRAMS FUNDING by Councilman Ward, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br />Garthe to instruct the City Attorney to prepare an ordinance <br />which would provide for paramedic user charges effective <br />July 1, 1975. <br /> <br />Further discussion of the funding for the paramedic and <br />crime abatement programs was deferred until Council has <br />received the report from the Citizens Crime Prevention <br />Commission, on the unanimously approved motion of Coun- <br />cilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Bricken. <br /> <br />CA 65 <br />CA 64.3 <br />CA 47.8 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 51 FEBRUARY 3, 1975 <br /> <br /> <br />
