Amendment summary history. <br /> <br />Task 7 Change Order Reviews <br />CONSULTANT will assist in reviewing potential Change Orders/Contract Amendments, and <br />recommending appropriate course of action. CONSULTANT will prepare and maintain a <br />Contract Amendment Log to track the requests, correspondence, and associated back-up <br />information for all requests. <br /> <br />Task 8 Delay Evaluations ' , <br />Completing the PROJECT on time will depend on the PROJECT participant's ability to address <br />critical issues in a timely manner. During the PE phase, AUTHORITY will have contractual <br />provisions ensuring the timely completion of work tasks. The schedule monitoring process will <br />be tied into the contractual process to allow timely completion of the PE work in accordance with <br />the Project Schedule. CONSULTANT will assist as directed by the AUTHORITY in providing <br />the necessary resources and to achieve timely completion of the PE phase, and provide <br />assistance in reviewing the contractual process as related to potential time impacts. For the <br />Final Engineering and Construction phases, the PE consulting firm, in conjunction with <br />AUTHORITY will draft PROJECT specifications that will detail the resolution process of time <br />related impacts to the PROJECT. CONSULTANT will validate the procedures for potential time <br />related impacts developed by the PE consulting firm. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT will assist AUTHORITY by highlighting work activities that are impacted on the <br />critical path, or others that have float depleted to the point of being on the critical path. <br />AUTHORITY wants to manage aggressively any potential delay causing events or issues <br /> <br />Task 9 Partnering Program <br /> <br />CONSULTANT will establish and implement a partnering program for the PROJECT. The intent <br />of this program will be to build working relationships among all PROJECT participants and <br />stakeholders, including AUTHORITY, FTA, participating cities, CONSULTANT, PE and <br />FEIS/EIR consulting firms, local jurisdictions, and others. Furthermore, the partnering program <br />shall provide consensus and team building, and a forum for communication between all <br />partnering participants. The partnering program will consist of two partnering workshop <br />sessions. The first session will be held by CONSULTANT 20 working days after the Notice to <br />Proceed is issued to the CONSULTANT. The second session is anticipated to be scheduled for <br />early 2003. CONSULTANT will hire a facilitator to develop, coordinate, and document the <br />partnering sessions and program. CONSULTANT will recommend a suitable location, and <br />coordinate the partnering programs at the pre-approved AUTHORITY locations. CONSULTANT <br />will document the partnering workshop proceedings and submit to the AUTHORITY for review <br />and approval. <br /> <br />7 of 10 <br />
