CA 65B <br /> <br />REGULATION OF NEWSRACKS ON PUBLIC The initial enforce- <br />PROPERTY - INITIAL ENFORCEMENT merit progress report <br />PROGRESS REPORT of regulation of news- <br /> racks on public property <br />prepared by the Public Works Director and dated July 28, 1975, <br />was received and filed on the motion of Councilman Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward, and unanimously (4-0) carried. <br /> CA 153 <br /> <br />PROPOSED SENATE BILL 886 (CARPENTER) The Senate Bill 886 <br />REDEFINING OBSCENTIY AND PORNOGRAPHY proposed by Senator <br />Carpenter was endorsed <br />by the unanimous in- <br />formal agreement of the Council and the City Attorney was <br />instructed to draft a Resolution in support of Senate Bill <br />886 for adoption, on the motion of Councilman Yamamoto, <br />seconded by Councilman Ortiz and unanimously (4-0) carried. <br /> CA 57 <br /> CA 153.7 <br />CALTRANS MORATORIUM ON FREEWAY The report of the <br />AND HIGHWAY PROJECTS Public Works Director <br /> dated July 29, 1975, <br /> advising that all <br />State Freeway and Highway Projects will be delayed for at <br />least one year was received an~ filed on the motion of <br />Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto and carried <br />(4-0) unanimously. The moratorium affects the following <br />Santa Ana Projects: Broadway at the Santa Ana Freeway, <br />Buffalo Avenue on-ramp to Santa Ana Freeway at Main Street, <br />and the Seventeenth Street interchange at Santa Ana Free- <br />way. CA 29.10 <br /> <br />COUNCIL REFERRAL SUMFakRY The Council Referral <br /> Summary dated July <br /> 29, 1975, was received <br /> and filed on the motion <br />of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto, and <br />carried (4-0) unanimously. CA 80.12 <br /> <br />PROPOSED PARKING AND TRAFFIC The allocation of <br />STUDY $15,000 from the park- <br /> ing revenue fund for <br /> use in contributing <br />to the parking and traffic study to be conducted by the Santa <br />Ana Redevelopment Agency was approved and the Staff was <br />authorized to forward this recommendation to the Board of <br />Supervisors on the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by <br />Councilman Evans and carried (4-0) unanimously.
