RESOLUTION NO. 75-148 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 <br />OF RESOLUTION 58-281 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS TITLE OF <br />DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND PARKS. <br /> <br />CA 50.1 <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF Council authorized <br />ACTING DIRECTOR OF immediate recruitment <br />RECREATION & PARKS for the position of <br /> Director of Recreation <br />and Parks at salary range of $2,066 $2,511 monthly, and <br />the interim appointment of Gene Laumeister, Recreation Superin- <br />tendent, as the Acting Director of Recreation and Parks at a <br />monthly salary of $2,277, effective July 1, 1975, on motion <br />of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ortiz, and <br />carried (5-1), with Councilman Ward dissenting. CA 50.1 <br /> CA 52 <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR ORDINANCE The request made by the <br />REQUIRING GASOLINE STATIONS Orange County Grand <br />TO POST PRICES Jury, in the form of a <br /> resolution dated <br />October 1, 1975, to adopt an ordinance to require the posting <br />of gasoline prices, was received and ordered filed, and no <br />additional action taken, on the motion of Councilman Brandt, <br />seconded by Councilman Ortiz, and carried (S-l), with Coun- <br />cilman Yamamoto dissenting. <br /> <br />The Councilmen generally expressed the views that they did <br />not wish to add another government control on one segment of <br />the business people in Santa Aha, and that service stations <br />are already required to post the prices of gasoline on the <br />pumps. CA 78 <br /> <br />RECESS At 3:04 P.M. the <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION meeting was recessed <br /> to an Executive Session <br /> to consider personnel <br />matters; the meeting reconvened at 4:30 P.M. with the same <br />Council members present. The Mayor returned to the meeting, <br />but did not vote on the following motion because he had not <br />participated in the interviews held prior to the motion. <br /> <br />SELECTION OF CONSULTANT The firm of Levander, <br />COMMUNITY PLAN PROGRAM Partridge & Anderson, <br /> Inc. was selected as <br /> the City's consultant <br />firm to provide needed services to formulate community plans <br />as required by the Community Development Program administered <br />by the U. S. Housing and Urban Development Department; staff <br />was directed to prepare an appropriate agreement with the <br />consultant firm, on motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by <br />Councilman Brandt, and carried (4-2), with Councilmen Evans <br />and Yamamoto dissenting. <br /> <br />The motion followe~ the Executive Session, during which two <br />firms were interviewed by Council prior to final selection. <br /> CA 140.20 <br /> <br />RECESS <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />AGENDA ORDER <br /> <br />Agency; Council reconvened at 5:35 <br />present. <br /> <br /> At 4:35 P.M.
