ORDINANCE NS-1298 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 2100 OF CHAPTER 1 OF <br />ARTICLE II OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br />SPECIFY A THIRD REGULAR MEETING EACH MONTH OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL. <br /> <br />CA 80 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1299 Council placed the <br />AMENDMENT APPLICATION #736 following Ordinance <br />SENIOR CITIZENS HOUSING PROJECT on second reading <br />ADOPTED and it was adopted <br /> (6:1), on motion of <br />Councilman Ward; seconded by Councilman Bricken, with <br />Councilman Evans dissenting: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1299 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 736 <br />INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO REZONE <br />REAL PROPERTY FROM P (PROFESSIONAL HEIGHT DISTRICT <br />II) AND O (OPEN SPACE) DISTRICT TO THE SD (SPECIFIC <br />DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DIS- <br />TRICT MAP 12-5-10. <br /> <br />CA 10 <br />CA 137.8 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1300 The following <br />SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN Ordinance was <br />SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING PROJECT placed on second <br />ADOPTED reading and adopted <br /> unanimously (7:0), <br />on motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman <br />Evans: <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NS-1300 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING AND ADOPTING A SPECIFIC <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE SENIOR CITIZEN HOUSING <br />PROJECT. <br /> <br />CA 10 <br />CA 137.8 <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY LEAGUE OF Council authorized the <br />CITIES - STAFFING & FUNDING Mayor and the City <br />POSITION ADOPTED Manager to represent <br /> the Council's position <br />as favoring the one man, one vote process, and to encourage <br />and support the Board of Supervisors as a member of the <br />Orange County League of Cities, on the unanimously approved <br />(7:0) motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman <br />Evans. <br /> <br />The motion followed a discussion of the letter dated Febru- <br />ary 18, 1976, from the Orange County Division of the League <br />of California Cities President, regarding several levels of <br />staffing alternatives and related funding requirements. The <br />consensus of the Council was to support the existing service <br />level (Alternative 1) until negotiation on the issue of pro- <br />portionate voting could be resolved to a point where the City <br />could consider the other alternatives presented. CA 148.1 <br /> <br />CHARTER REVIEW Acting on the recom- <br />COMMITTEE mendation of Mayor <br />APPOINTED Garthe, Council <br /> appointed the follow- <br />ing Santa Ana residents to serve on the Charter Review Com- <br />mittee, on the unanimously approved (7:0) motion of Council- <br />man Evans, seconded by Councilman Brandt: Eugene Flores, <br />Richard Grace, Robert Gunton, Waldo Haug, Pat McGuigan, <br />Tom McMichael and David R.
