FEES FOR "ADULT" THEATERS The recommendation from <br />REFERRAL ITEM #228 the City Attorney in <br />TABLED his report dated <br /> March 30, 1976 for <br />an ordinance establishing a regulatory license requirement <br />for "adult" theaters at a reasonable fee ($500.00 per;~quarter), <br />was tabled, on the;unanimously carried (7:0) motion of Coun- <br />cilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />Prior to the motion, the City A~torney suggested that there <br />might be a better solution to the problem of costs incurred <br />in the regulation of "adult" theaters, which he would propose <br />at a later meeting. CA 149 <br /> <br />ADJUSTMENT - TRASH COLLECTION Council continued <br />PAYMENTS TO CONTRACTOR to May 3, 1976 <br />CONTINUED consideration of <br /> the recommended <br />compensation adjustments:for Great Western Reclamation <br />Inc. for residential trash collection, an increase of <br />$0.15 per water meter per month, and cancellation of the <br />pay-back clause, on the unanimously approved (7:0) motion <br />of Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman Ward. cA <br /> <br />11.4 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO SALE CONTRACT On motion of Council- <br />SENIOR CITIZENS HOUSING SITE man Ward, seconded by <br />APPROVED Councilman Yamamoto, <br /> and carried (6:1), <br />with Councilman Brandt dissenting, Council approved the <br />Amendment to Contract Agreement for sale of the Senior <br />Citizens Housing Site to National Housing Consultants, Inc., <br />which had been approved by the Housing Authority and <br />Community Redevelopment Agency at their special meetings <br />held earlier in the afternoon. CA 137.8 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION J. Ogden Markel, <br />BICENTENNIAL DECORATIONS former Councilman, <br />APPROVED P.O. Box 2012, <br /> Santa Aha, submitted <br />a letter dated April 5, 1976 to Council requesting permis- <br />sion to erect Bicentennial decorations across Main <br />Street, from 1438 S. Main to 1439 S. Main, to remain in <br />place for a minimam of 30 days beginning May 1, 1976. <br />Council approved Mr. Markel's request subject to Staff <br />review, on the unanimously carried (7:0) motion of Coun- <br />cilman Evans~ seconded by Councilman Brandt. <br /> <br />CA 45.1 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION In response to the <br />WILLIAM H. HIME letter dated April 5 <br />AUTHORIZED LETTER presented to Council <br /> by William H. Hime, <br />4602 E1 Don Place, regarding zoning complaints, the Mayor <br />was authorized to investigate the problems and respond to <br />Mr. Hime by letter, by the unanimously approved (7:0) motion <br />of Councilman Evans, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. CA 10.2 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATION Council authorized <br />BUD WHITE the Mayor to investigate <br />AUTHORIZED LETTER the complaints presented <br /> to Council by L. J. <br />(Bud) White, 4606 W.
