S8-281 TO ADD THE NEW CLASS <br />TITLE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR. <br /> <br />CA 140.20 <br /> <br />Prior to the motion, Deputy City Manager G. David Tayco <br />stated that the City has attempted to fill the position <br />by CETA employees, but that there have been four persons <br />in the position. Councilman Ward said that he supported <br />the program and thought we did need a permanent coordinator, <br />but that he was unsure of the salary range. Councilman <br />Bricken said he was not convinced that the salary range <br />was justified. Councilman Evans opposed another Staff coord- <br />inator.
