OPTIONAL AUTO EXPENSE PROGRAM Approval was given <br />PURCHASING OFFICER to the inclusion of <br />APPROVED the PurchaSing and <br /> Property Control <br />Officer in the Optional Automobile Expense Allowance Pro- <br />gram established in April, 1973, on the motion of Council- <br />man Ward, seconded by Mayor Garthe, and carried (4:3), <br />with Councilmen Brandt, Evans and Bricken dissenting. CA 6S.14 <br /> <br />AB 3336 & AB 3337 On the recommenda- <br />OPPOSITION tion of the City <br /> Attorney in his <br /> · memorandum dated <br />March 30, 1976, the Mayor was directed to write letters <br />to State legislative representatives expressing the City's <br />opposition to Assembly Bills 3336 and 3337 regarding <br />Workmens Compensation Benefits, on the motion of Council- <br />man Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman Ward, and carried <br /> (7:0) unanimously. CA 57 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT #172 The establishment <br />MAJOR DIVERSION GRANT of accounts for the <br />APPROVED Police Department's <br /> Major Diversion <br />Grant (Appropriation Adjustment #172) was approved, on <br />the motion of Councilman Yamamoto, seconded by Councilman <br />Ward, and carried (5:2), with Councilmen Brandt and Evans <br />dissenting. CA 65.3 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT #174 The additional $4,000 <br />CITY HALL LOADING DOCK needed to modify the <br />APPROVED City Hall Loading <br /> Dock to meet CAL-OSHA <br />safety standards was approved, on the motion of Councilman <br />Ward, seconded by Councilman Evans, and carried (7:0) <br />unanimously. CA 65.3 <br /> <br />BID AWARD - PROJECT 6118 Councilman Ward's <br />CITY HALL LOADING DOCK motion to award the <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION APPROVED following on the basis <br /> of lowest responsible <br />and best bidder was seconded by Councilman Brandt, and <br />unanimously approved (7:0): <br /> <br />PROJECT 6118 - City Hall Loading Dock <br />Modifications; awarded to David F. Whitegon <br />dba D. W.
