CA 68 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 53 Appropriation Adjustment <br />SETTLEMENT OF LAWSUIT No. 53, transferring <br />APPROVED $30,000 from the City <br /> Council Contingency <br />Reserve to the City Attorney Administration Account, to imple- <br />ment settlement of the Police Benevolent lawsuit regarding <br />restrictions on lunch hour, was approved on the unanimously <br />carried 7:0 motion of Councilman Garthe, seconded by Council~ <br />man Brandt. CA 65.3 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 96 Acting on the recommenda- <br />FUNDING FIRE STATION 4 tions in the report dated <br />APPROVED February 13, prepared by <br /> Fire Chief B. J. Thompson, <br />Council approved a "pay-as-you-go" program for a two-year phased <br />construction of the new Fire Station 4 facility, and approved <br />Appropriation Adjustment No. 96, transferring $280,250 from <br />various Fire Department accounts where savings were realized <br />to Fire Building Capital Account for Fire Station No. 4, on <br />the unanimously carried 7:0 motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded <br />by Councilman Ward. The motion included direction to the Staff <br />to set a public hearing for March 13 to consider the transfer <br />of $30,000 surplus revenue sharing funds, presently allocated <br />for acquisition of property for the construction of Fire Station <br />4 to the construction of Phase I of that facility.
