<br />Councilman Bricken commented that there is a problem, which may be addressed as a
<br />separate issue, in moving from the office complex that fronts Golden Circle Drive

<br />VA 79-13 - 1612-1616 E. PALM STREET to consider the Negative Declaration
<br />DENIED and Appeal #403, filed by Ettie Lee
<br /> Homes, Inc., Baldwin Park, of the
<br />Planning Commission Denial of Variance Application No. 79-13 to allow a 24-hour
<br />board and care facility for eight abused, neglected, abandoned, pre-delinquent
<br />and delinquent boys, ages 11-18, in the R2 District at 1612-1616 E. Palm Street.
<br />
<br />The Associate Planner sunmarized the information contained in the Planning
<br />Commission Finding of Fact dated April 9, 1979.
<br />
<br />The Deputy Clerk of the Council reported that a petition containing 77 signatures
<br />had been received in opposition to the Appeal.
