<br />PUBLIC HEARING - EDINGER & RAITT The ViceMayor opened the public
<br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION - APPROVED hearing to consider Negative Declaration;
<br />RES. 79-89 - ADOPTED General Plan Amendment No. 79-5, to
<br />ORDINANCE NO. NS----~i - FIRST READING amend the Land Use Element of the
<br /> General Plan by redesignating six acres
<br />located on the southeast corner of Edinger Avenue and Raitt Street, west of Salvation
<br />Lane, from the Low Density Residential designation to the Migh Density Residential
<br />designation; and Amendment Application No. 814 to rezone the property from the
<br />General Agriculture District to the Specific Development District.
<br />
<br />Assistant Planner William Daugherty surmnarized the information contained in the
<br />staff report dated May 30, 1979, prepared by the Planning Department.
<br />
<br />The Deputy Clerk reported there were no written con~nunications. There were no
<br />speakers for or against the proposals. The Vice Mayor closed the public
<br />hearing.

<br />6 ACRES LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF EDINGER AVENUE AND RAITI STREE~r,
<br />WEST OF SALVATION LANE, FROM THE LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DESIGNATION TO THE
<br />HIGH DENSITY RESIDF2~TIAL DESIGNATION; and
