CETA TITLE II-B FUNDING PLAN MOTION was made by Bricken, OCTOBER 1, 1979 - SEPTEMBER 30, 1980 seconded by Ward, to continue CONTINUED TO AU~JST 20 to August 20, 1979~ the Council review of recommended CETA Title II-B funding levels for programs for the period from October 1, 1979, through September 30, 1980, in the total first round amount of $2,307,708. At 5:35 p.m. the meeting was reconvened and immediately recessed to dinner at Camelot Restaurant with Assemblyman Richard Robinson. The Council reconvened at 7:35 p.m. in the City Council Chambers with all Council members present except Mayor Ward, who arrived at 7:45 p.m. INVOCATION PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Innerlife Christian Fellowship. Following the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was given by Reverend Phil Palacios, CC~ITY SPOTLIGHT William Bloom described the MYASTHENIA GRAVIS FOUNDATION history, purpose, organization and fund raising activities of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation. Councilman Yamamoto presented a City Seal tile plaque to Mr. Bloom in appreciation for the organization's conmnnity service. PUBLIC HEARING Vice Mayor Bricken referred CONDOMINIIB~ORDINANCE to a memorandum to Council CONTINUED TO AUGUST 20 from Councilman Serrato, which had not been received by all Council members prior to the meeting, containing recommendations for Council consideration for inclusion in the proposed condominit~n ordinance. The Vice Mayor suggested that Council might wish to continue the matter to give Council members and staff the opportunity to adequately review the recommendations contained in Councilman Serrato's memo dated August 6. Mayor Ward arrived during discussion of the proposed continuance. ~DTION was made by Yamamoto, seconded by Markel, to continue the public hearing for consideration of ORDINANCE NO. NS-1496 to August 20, 1979. LYON - CONTINUED TO AUGUST 20 from James F. Croul on behalf of Lyon Street Apartments Co., the applicant, to continue the matter to August 20, 1979.
