Rodger Howell, 401 Civic Center Drive West, representing the Appellant, <br />spoke in favor of the proposal. Other speakers in favor were Gerald <br />Chick and Lester Day, 3450 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, American <br />Development Company; and Mickey Madden, 2319 North Rosewood. <br /> <br />There were no other speakers. The Mayor closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Following discussion, MDTIONwas made by Luxembourger, seconded by Bricken, <br />to approve and file the Notice of Exemption and direct the City Attorney <br />to prepare a resolution granting Appeal No. 407, overruling the decision <br />of the Planning Cor~nission and granting Conditional Use Permit No. 79-9, <br />subject to the staff requirements contained in the Planning Commission <br />Finding of Fact dated June 25, 1979, with strong emphasis on Condition <br />No. 7 A 4 for separate meters within each dwelling unit, and an additional <br />requirement for a security gate operated by card key. <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />BRICKBN, GRISET, LUXI~BOURGBR, WARD, YAMAMOTO <br />MARKBL, SBRRATO <br /> <br />CA 13.4 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO.
