<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Manager <br /> <br />make <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />staff <br /> <br />The City Manager asked the Real Estate <br />presentation on this item. <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Hoffman, Real Estate Manager, stated that See's Candy <br />Shops, Inc., made no request to appear before the Agency at this <br />public hearing and had accepted the Agency's offer to acquire the <br />leasehold interest. He respectfully requested that the staff <br />memorandum dated March 17, 1987, be incorporated by reference and <br />that the Agency adopt Resolution 87-09 to ensure timely delivery of <br />the property in the unlikely event problems are encountered with <br />See's vacation. <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />It was confirmed there were no written communications. <br /> <br />When Chairman Young asked if there were members of the public who <br />wished to address the Agency on this issue, there was no response. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, staff or Agency <br />Members, Chairman Young called for a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />87-09. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Acosta, seconded by Agency Member May <br />and carried unanimously (7:0) that the Agency adopt Resolution No. <br />87-09: A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CONDEMNATION OF <br />THAT CERTAIN LEASEHOLD INTEREST HELD BY SEE'S CANDY SHOPS, INC. A <br />CALIFORNIA CORPORATION, IN THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS #21 <br />FASHION SQUARE, 2850 NORTH MAIN STREET, FOR REDEVELOPMENT PURPOSES <br />IN THE FASHION SQUARE EXPANSION AND REDEVELOPMENT SITE IN THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND DECLARING THE PUBLIC <br />NECESSITY THEREFOR. <br /> <br />PROPERTY ACQUISITION - SYCAMORE APARTMENTS DEVELOPMENT SITE <br /> <br />The Chairman asked for a staff report concerning the execution of <br />all appropriate documents for acquisition of real property at 220 <br />and 222 South Sycamore Street. <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that since there were no property <br />acquisitions available at this time, this item was not ready for <br />action. <br /> <br />FUND TRANSFER TO THE STOREFRONT IMPROVEMENT REBATE PROGRAM <br /> <br />With regard to this fund transfer request, the City Manager asked <br />that this item be continued for thirty (30) days. On a motion by <br />Vice Chairperson McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Acosta and <br />carried unanimously (7:0) it was moved that the Agency defer this <br />item until their meeting of April 21,1987. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
