<br />I <br /> <br />, <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Robert Hoffman, Redevelopment & Real Estate Manager, presented the staff <br />report and commented on the factors and evidence necessitating the <br />condemnation action. <br /> <br />When the Vice Chairman asked for written communications, the Agency Secretary <br />responded that there were none. <br /> <br />There was no response from the public when the Vice Chairman asked if anyone <br />wished to address the Agency on this matter. <br /> <br />Responding to a question from Agency Member Pulido, the City Attorney stated <br />that in the event the property owners cannot be found, it would be up to the <br />courts to decide what will happen to the funds. He added that staff will <br />continue to investigste the ownership of the parcels. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member McGuigan, seconded by Agency Member Griset and <br />carried unanimously (6:0) that the Redevelopment Agency adopt: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-16 - A Resolution of the Community Redevelopment Agency <br />of the City of Santa Ana authorizing and directing the condemnation of <br />certain parcel of real property, known as Orange County Assessor's Parcel <br />No. 405-162-15, located near the southwest corner of Santa Ana Boulevard <br />and Flower Street, in the City of Santa Ana, for redevelopment purposes, <br />and declaring the public necessity therefor. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-17 - A Resolution of the Community Redevelopment Agency <br />of the City of Santa Ana authorizing and directing the condemnation of <br />that certain east-west alley, located between Third Street and Santa Ana <br />Boulevard in the City of Ssnta Ana, for redevelopment purposes, and <br />declaring the public necessity therefor. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion, the Vice Chairman closed the public hearing at <br />5:49 p.m, <br /> <br />TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT WITH SANTA ANA NISSAN <br /> <br />INC. <br /> <br />Agency Member Griset excused himself from the Council Chambers because of a <br />conflict of interest. <br /> <br />It was moved by Agency Member Pulido, seconded by Agency Member May and <br />carried unanimously (5:0) that the Redevelopment Agency terminate that certain <br />Disposition and Development Agreement dated July 15, 1986 and Amendment to <br />Disposition and Development Agreement dated October 20, 1987, by and between <br />the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana and Santa Ana <br />Nissan, Inc. for Parcel Nos. 1 and 2 at the Santa Ana Auto Mall. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
