<br />Prooosal <br /> <br />I. Proposat submitted by Vendor/Contractor to the City for review shall include all cost for removal of <br /> <br />existing netting and designing, furnishing and installing new netting as specified above. Consultant shall <br /> <br />present the atternatives along with cost estimate to the City for review. <br /> <br />2. Proposal shall atso include photographs or brochures with detailed information regarding the specific <br /> <br />netting being proposed. <br /> <br />Construction Documents, Soecifications and Permits <br /> <br />1. Upon approval of the selected proposal by the City, Vendor/Contractor shall prepare required construction <br /> <br />documents including the following: <br /> <br />. Cover sheet <br />. Overall site plan, including parking lot <br />. Site layout and construction; include construction staging area <br />. Three (3) sets signed structural calculations (by ticensed engineer) <br />. Project Specifications <br />. Opinion of Probable Cost <br /> <br />2. Vendor/Contractor shall prepare all construction drawings conforming to the City of Santa Ana's CAD Standards. <br />Prepare plan drawings on 24" x 36" photo mylar (sepia and paper not acceptable), plans shall be prepared in <br />Engtish units and at a scale of I" ~ 20'. Design details shall be prepared at a scale of I" ~ 10' or as appropriate. <br />3. Vendor/Contractor shall prepare technical specifications including special provisions in Microsoft Word format. <br />4. Upon submittal of contract documents, the Consuttant shall make revisions as required and reproduce all contract <br />documents until plans are approved by appropriate agencies, and approvals are obtained to acquire building <br />permits. City staff shall make the initial submittal for Building Department plan check and act as liaison between <br />plan checker and consultant to discuss what needs to be done to obtain permit approvals. <br />5. Prepare preliminary and final construction quantities and cost estimates and updates. Consultant shall submit <br />backup calculations for the project quantities. <br />6. Construction plans submittal shall adhere to the following schedule and formats. The first submittat shall have <br />plans and preliminary cost estimate at 80% completion. The second submittal shall have 100% comptete plans, <br />specifications and estimate. The final submittal shall have construction drawings plotted on Mylars (signed by state <br />of California licensed professional engineer within the appropriate discipline). Construction drawings in <br />Microstation or AutoCAD format, Specifications and boilerplate in Microsoft Word format, and finat estimate in <br />Microsoft Excel Format shall be submitted in hard copy and on CD. <br />7. Vendor/Consultant shall apply for and obtain all necessary permits required by the City and all regulatory agencies <br />including Federal, State, and Local jurisdictions. City permits will be "no fee" permits. All fees required by other <br />jurisdictions shall be the responsibility ofthe applicant. <br />8. All preliminary and bid sets ofptans shall be plotted on bond or velum. All drawings shall be 24" x 36" on City <br />standard title block and title sheet. <br /> <br />2 <br />
