AELUP Page 18. <br /> <br />(ii) Moreover, Appendix D of the AELUP <br />does not identify any Accident Potential <br />Zones/Runway Protection Zones within <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />(iii) Since there are no areas susceptible to <br />aircraft accidents within Santa Ana, this <br />project does not concentrate people in <br />areas susceptible to aircraft accidents. <br /> <br />(3) Permits structures of excessive height in areas <br />which would affect adversely the continued <br />operation of the airport, or Permits activities or <br />facilities that would affect adversely <br />aeronautical operations." AELUP Section <br />3.2.1, page 20. <br /> <br />(i) Moreover, as discussed above this <br />project will not adversely affect the <br />continued operation of the airport or <br />aeronautical operations. <br /> <br />(ii) FAA conducted an Aeronautical Study <br />of the proposed project and determined <br />this project to be no hazard to air <br />navigation. As previously stated, the <br />ALUC considers the FAA to be the <br />"single 'Authority' for analyzing project <br />impact on airport or aeronautical <br />operations, or navigational-aid siting, <br />including interference with navigation- <br />aids or published flight paths and <br />procedures." AELUP page 14. <br /> <br />(iii) The Krause Analysis confirmed the FAA <br />determination, and found this project will <br /> <br />75C-291 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2005- <br />Page 16 of 25 <br />
