<br />RESOLUTION 2005-052 <br />REVENUE FY 05.06 <br />ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT!MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT FEES <br />SECTION X PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />5911 VIOLA TION/lNVESTIGA TION FEES 67.50 <br />5912 <br />5913 When any work for which a permit is required has been <br />5914 commenced without the authorization of such permit, an <br />5915 investigation may be required before a permit will be issued <br />5918 for such work. An investigation fee shall be assessed in an <br /> amount sufficient to reimburse the City for costs actually <br /> incurred by the City based on a rate of$67,50 per hour but <br /> in no case less than $67,50 shall be collected. <br />591 ] PENALTY FEES ]68,50 <br />5912 <br />5913 In addition to the investigation fee and regular permit fee, a <br />5914 penalty in an amount equal to the amount of the total permit <br />5915 fee shall be required, but in no case less than $]68.50. <br />5918 <br />591 ] EXPEDITED COPY REQUEST Per Hour 46,00 <br /> Whenever a request is received for expedited documentation <br /> ofa written report, or for records or plans. <br />] 1.417 APPROVAL FOR BUSINESS Each 67,00 <br /> CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br /> Whenever a Business License Tax application requires <br /> approval of a Business Certificate of Occupancy each <br /> application shall be accompanied by the payment of a <br /> nonrefundable application processing fee of fee of$26,00 <br /> and an inspection fee of$41 which shall be refunded if <br /> an inspection proves to be unnecessary. <br />591 ] DEMOLITION PERMIT 67.50 <br /> The fee for a permit to demolish a building or structure shall <br /> be based upon the contract price but in no case less than the <br /> minimum building permit fee of$67.50. <br />098.01.361 ] When a building is demolished, the owner shall provide the <br /> City with a cash or surety bond as described in Section 8.1768 <br /> through 8.1771 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. For the <br /> purpose of lot cleanup and capping of the sewer lateral, the <br /> value of the bond is to be established by the Building Official <br /> but in no case shall the bond be less than $1,000.00 per <br /> building.
