The proposed project would not <br />require septic tanks or alternative disposal systems. <br /> <br />VII. HAZARDS/HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br /> <br />A. Create a significant hazard to <br />environment through the routine <br />disposal of hazardous materials? <br /> <br />the public <br />transport, <br /> <br />or the <br />use or <br /> <br />B. Emit hazardous emissions or handle hazardous or acutely <br />hazardous materials, substance or waste within one- <br />quarter mile of an existing or proposed school? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The operation of the proposed project would not involve <br />acti vi ties that would emit hazardous emissions or involve <br />the routine handling of hazardous or acutely hazardous <br />materials. Construction operations associated with the <br />proposed project could involve incidental handling of <br />hazardous materials such as solvents, paints, gasoline and <br />oil. However, the quantities of the materials would be <br />minimal and would not pose a safety hazard to the public. <br />Any large quantities of hazardous materials used during <br />construction would be subject to compliance with local, <br />state and federal laws and regulations regarding the <br />storage and handling of hazardous materials. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Be located on a site which is located <br />hazardous material sites compiles <br />Government Code Section 659662.5 and, <br />would it create a significant hazard to <br />the environment? <br /> <br />on a list of <br />pursuant to <br />as a result, <br />the public or <br /> <br />No Impact <br />According to the City Santa Ana Fire Department, the <br />project site is not included on a list of hazardous <br />material sites.
