Throughout your driving experience with A Taxi Cab you are subject to random drug <br />and alcohol screens. If you are in a collision you will be tested. <br />Any refusal or evasion of this test at the time you are told to submit is a violation of <br />your lease agreement and that agreement will be terminated immediately. <br />A Taxi Cab does not interfere with the conduct of the private lives of our drivers. <br />However, where that conduct endangers the public safety and the driver's ability to <br />function we have the right and responsibility to protect the public safety and refuse to <br />lease a cab. <br />If you have a problem with alcohol or drugs, you can come to us in confidence and <br />we will help you find intervention, counseling and/or a program to help you fight this <br />dreaded disease. Honesty will not be punished. You may be allowed to return to <br />driving under strict supervision provided you come to us first and seek help. <br />You can not drive with gU alcohol or illegal drug in you system. A hang over is <br />only the bad effect of being drunk. You are still drunk during a hang over, however <br />mild. If you chose to drink during your off hours do so in moderation and give <br />yourself plenty of time for your body to cleanse itself of alcohol, If you are doing <br />illegal drugs you will have your lease terminated immediately. If you are involved in <br />a collision and you have any illegal drug in your system the results of your test will <br />be made available to law enforcement. <br />Public safety is our first consideration. It is your <br />greatest trust and responsibility <br />II, OCTAP Renewal and Compliance <br />The Training Manager will go over the OCT" fors with you and alert you when <br />your permit is due to expire. The process must be completed in full again with the <br />exception of fingerprinting. The OCTAP permit must be displayed on the drivers <br />dash board in view of the public. <br />You will automatically be enrolled in the DW pull program as required. You will <br />be notified of any violations that could jeopardize your driving privledges. The <br />Training Manager has the authority to pull your OCTAP permit and taxi cab, if it is <br />found that it is in the best interest of the company to do so, or as required by law. The <br />Training Manager is responsible for answering any questions that you may have. <br />Additional support is available at the lease payment window. <br />(OCTAP Information Attached) <br />III. Equipment Checklist <br />All drivers must have their taxi drivers OCTAP permit ID card visible in the ID card <br />holder.
