Due to our safety record our insurance rates are among the lowest in the demand <br />response transportation industry, and yet our insurance rates exceed regular driver <br />rates by four hundred percent (400%) <br />Do your part to keep our rates low by driving defensively and professionally. <br />•• Make sure that your insurance card is in the glove compartment of your cab <br />and that it is current. <br />Always give insurance information along with other relevant information <br />when asked by law enforcement or at the scene of any collision. <br />A Taxi Cab does not believe in accidents. There is nothing accidental about <br />a collision. One could always have avoided it, or all, of the drivers involved. <br />—• If you have any questions regarding insurance coverage check with <br />management or inquire of dispatch over the phone. <br />X Taxi Meter and Fare Payment <br />There are many different ways a customer can pay the fare. <br />I. CASH. American money is accepted for all rides. <br />2. TRAVELERS CHECKS. Make sure the check says. "Payable in US Dollars." <br />Have the presenter of the check sign the check in your presence and look to see that <br />both signatures match. <br />3.CREDTT CARDS. We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, Diner, and JCB among <br />others. Upon presentation of a credit card, take the customer's card and insert it with <br />the sales invoice into the imprinting machine. Fill in the metered amount only; do <br />NOT enter any tip. Give the invoice to your passenger on a clipboard and ask then to <br />total out the amount at the bottom. This allows the customer to enter a tip. All credit <br />card presenters must have the card with them and photo driver's license, state photo <br />ID card, or valid passport or military ID, with the same name that appears on the <br />credit card. Write the DLN or ID number and date of birth on the credit card invoice. <br />Call dispatch and state that you need "credit card approval ". The dispatcher will lead <br />you through the process and in about 5 minutes give you an" approval code " number. <br />Enter that number on the invoice. Retain possession of the card unit it's approved, <br />( you may be instructed to keep the card and destroy it if it's no good ) then give the <br />customer the credit card and their copy, clearly marked "Customer or Card holder's" <br />copy. You now have a verified "good" ( 99.9 % of the time ) credit card sale. <br />4.TAXICAB VOUCHERS. We accept only A TAXI CAB vouchers. If the <br />27 <br />
