lighting, ramp metering, signing, traffic control and pavement delineation to construct <br />approximately 3 miles of HOV and auxiliary lanes through the City of Buena Park. The Project <br />requires coordination with Caltrans District 12, Orange County Transportation Authority and The <br />cities of Buena Park and La Palma. <br />State Route 60 HOV Project - preparation of the traffic management plan (TMP) and design <br />plans, specifications, and cost estimates for traffic control, signing and pavement delineation to <br />construct approximately 5 miles of HOV lanes between the 57 Freeway and the Los Angeles <br />and San Bernardino County Limits. The project requires coordination with Caltrans Districts 7 <br />and 8. <br />State Route 73 Widening Project- prepared traffic signal and signing and striping plans for the <br />widening of MacArthur Boulevard (SR 73) from south of Bison Avenue to north of Bonita <br />Canyon Road in the City of Newport Beach. The Project required coordination with Caltrans <br />District 12. <br />State Route 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) Widening Project - prepared traffic signal, signing, <br />striping and interconnect design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the widening of <br />Pacific Coast Highway (SR 1) from Newport Boulevard (SR 55) to the west City limits in the City <br />of Newport Beach. This was the first project in the state to demonstrate construction contract <br />administration of a Caltrans state highway project by a local agency. The project was <br />administered on behalf of Caltrans District 12. <br />City of Irvine, Jeffrey Road Underpass - preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates <br />for realignment of Jeffrey Road from Walnut Avenue to Irvine Center Drive and construction of <br />an underpass at the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad crossing. The traffic plans <br />required for this project included interim and ultimate signal modifications, signal interconnect, <br />street lighting, and signing and striping to facilitate the temporary and ultimate condition for each <br />stage of construction. Construction staging and traffic control plans were developed to provide <br />two lanes of travel, bike path, and pedestrian walkways for each direction. <br />Jeffrey Road(Irvine Center Drive(Irvine Valley College Intersection - preparation of <br />improvement plans, specifications, and cost estimates for modification to the intersection <br />including street and drainage facilities traffic signals, signing, striping and landscape and <br />irrigation. The project was completed to facilitate improved access to Irvine Valley College and <br />to provide Class II bicycle facilities along Jeffrey Road within the existing Edison Company right- <br />of-way. <br />City of Santa Ana, School Area Signing and Striping PS&E - This HES-funded project <br />provided recommendations and plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) plans to bring the <br />school area signing (for 34 schools) into compliance with Federal and State Standards and <br />provided updated suggested route to school plans for 20 elementary schools. <br />City of Lancaster, Lancaster Suggested Route to School - preparation of the suggested <br />route to school plans and report for the City of Lancaster. The scope of the project included: <br />School principal questionnaires for each of the schools within 3 school districts, establishment of <br />standards with City staff for installation of traffic control devices, data collection (school <br />attendance boundaries, pedestrian and bicycle traffic control device inventory and accident <br />data, sidewalk inventories), suggested route to school identification, accident analyses, and a <br />recommended list of improvements. <br />
