3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />21 <br />consultant will be selected when the project is assigned to a <br />Consultant. <br />3. Following contract award, the City will request cost proposals for this <br />project from the three selected Consultants and conduct interviews before <br />assigning the project to a Consultant. <br />4. The City's agreement with this Consultant will contain additional provisions <br />required by OTS (see Attachment H, Section 6.9, Contractual Agreement <br />Requirements, Grant Program Manual, Volume ll, California Office of <br />Traffic Safety, particularly Sections 6.9.2 (h) — (m) and (q) — (u). Copies of <br />Articles XV — XIX of OTS's Model Contract (Exhibit 6D), to which these <br />sections refer, are also included). <br />CITY RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. The City will provide the following to the Consultants: <br />1. All plan check coordination within the City, <br />2. Sample boiler plate specifications to be used for specifications, <br />3. Accident data and traffic count data, as available, for review at City offices, <br />4. Electronic files of the base street plans, as available, <br />5. A street map of the City, as needed, and <br />6. Aerial photographs of the City, as needed. <br />PRIME CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The selected Consultants will be required to assume responsibility for all services <br />offered in their proposals. The selected Consultants will be the sole point of contact <br />with regard to contractual matters, including payment of any and all charges <br />resulting from the contracts. <br />REGULATIONS <br />The selected Consultants will be expected to comply will all applicable federal, state <br />and local regulations, building codes, and contract provisions. The ensuing contract <br />shall contain such contractual provisions and conditions necessary to define a <br />sound and complete agreement. <br />TENTATIVE SCHEDULE <br />Issue Request for Proposal (RFP) March 28, 2001 <br />Submit Proposals April 26, 2001 <br />Award Contracts June 4, 2001 <br />-3- <br />
