Irvine Boulevard at Newport Boulevard <br />The counts will be taken by personnel of KOA or by a traffic count specialist, Traffic Data Services of <br />Santa Ana or The Traffic Solution of Arcadia, depending upon project scheduling and availability. Once <br />Task 3 is initiated, any additional counts that are needed will result in the fee being renegotiated. <br />Future traffic volume information will be obtained from the most recent version of OCTAM furnished by <br />OCTA. If the fee for their information exceeds $1,000, additional compensation will be requested by <br />KOA (the fee for existing forecasts is nominal). <br />KOA will also review the location and intersections in the field to observe and inventory roadway <br />geometries, existing traffic operation, and relevant information during peak hours. <br />Report Preparation <br />The study will address traffic conditions at all relevant intersections required by CEQA guidelines and <br />CMP guidelines. KOA will research information pertaining to approved projects and projects pending <br />approval in each study area from the affected agencies. <br />The report will include general recommendations related to circulation and accessibility to be utilized in <br />the design and implementation of the Mixed -Use Overlay Zone. The report will also analyze potential <br />parking intrusions into nearby business and residential neighborhoods as well as non-residential uses <br />generated by commuter or truck traffic through residential areas that might alter their residential <br />character. <br />KOA will prepare a traffic study for the development proposal.
