3.4 Controlled temperature heat detector for fixed temperature and rate of rise <br />heat detectors <br />3.5 Testing signs (free standing to be placed at entrance of building, minimum <br />2'X2'. <br />3.6 Volt -ohm meter (VOH) and other equipment needed to properly test and <br />inspect the systems. <br />4. Tests and Inspections shall be scheduled two (2) weeks in advance with facility <br />personnel <br />5. Contractor shall make minor repairs while on-site. If additional repairs are required, <br />Contractor will coordinate with facility representatives to complete the repairs. <br />B. Emergency Services <br />1. 24 hour service, excluding normal holidays, shall be provided to complete the <br />following: <br />• Labor to repair system control panel and annunciator panel malfunction, Peripheral <br />devices. <br />• Labor to isolate system wiring troubles <br />• Labor to troubleshoot fire alarm systems <br />• Labor to replace failed peripheral equipment <br />• Labor to maintain all systems in good working order in accordance with the highest <br />standards of workmanship <br />• Labor to assist owner in isolating problems that arise from the interconnection of <br />systems (i.e. elevator recall, AHU shutdown, etc.) <br />• Labor to complete required tests/inspections. <br />2. Contractor shall provide all mileage and travel necessary for unlimited emergency <br />service calls to the job -site <br />3. Contractor shall provide emergency repairs within eight (8) regular working hours, <br />following receipt of call from facility personnel <br />4. Contractor shall provide 24-hour service upon City's request. Parts up to $500 per <br />device. <br />SERVICES NOT INCLUDED <br />1. Optional retrofits <br />2. Exterior painting or refinishing of the equipment and/or surrounding surfaces <br />3. Repairs of damages from any cause other than ordinary use, including acts of God <br />and vandalism <br />4. PARTS AND EQUIPMENT <br />1. Replacement Parts <br />• Contractor shall provide UL and ISO 9000 listed control parts necessary to repair <br />the fire alarm system control units and annunciator panels at no additional cost. <br />• Contractor shall provide UL approved lamps, fuses and LED's at no additional <br />cost. <br />10 <br />
