2. Inventory <br />• Contractor shall maintain in local office, inventory of the following UL and ISO <br />900 listed items/equipment for the fire alarm systems <br />- One (1) complete set of circuit boards for all Fire Alarm systems <br />One (1) set of UL listed replacement batteries <br />Complete UL listed replacement peripheral devices, three (3) complete <br />units for each type installed <br />The service personnel shall have in their vehicle inventory, an adequate supply of <br />replacement parts/equipment. <br />Contractor shall have access to a fire alarm national parts distribution center to <br />provide repair parts within 24 hours. <br />5. FIRE ALARM INSPECTIONS <br />1. Fire Control Panel <br />• All zones operate alarm <br />• All zones operate trouble <br />• Common trouble indicators operate <br />• All fuses agree with markings <br />• Battery standby operational <br />• AC power feeds correct <br />2. Annunciator Panels <br />All indicators operate <br />All auxiliary functions operate <br />Labeling is correct and definitive <br />3. Peripheral Devices <br />• All indicating devices tested for alarm, including sprinkler switches <br />• All indicating devises tested for trouble, including sprinkler switches <br />• All signaling devices tested for operation <br />• All signaling devices tested for trouble <br />• Audibility test <br />4. Auxiliary Functions <br />• All door holders/closures operate <br />• City connection/monitoring center connection operates <br />• Elevator capture operates <br />• Fan control/HVAC shutdown operates <br />5. Standards <br />• Detectors properly spaced <br />• Proper detector placement <br />
