Orange County One-Stop System <br /> <br />Contractor agrees to partner and to proYide access to services proYided by the mandated <br />WIA One Stop Partners as described in the Act as well as any additional partners identified <br />by the OCWIB or the Orange County Board of Supervisors. <br /> <br />3. One-Stop Principles <br /> <br />Contractor agrees to integrate to the fullest extent possible, the following principles into the <br />deliyery of services: <br /> <br />A. Streamline services through an integration of multiple programs, including Wagner- <br />Peyser and WIA, at the service leyel through One-Stop service centers; <br /> <br />B. Empower individuals with information and resources they need to manage their own <br />careers; <br /> <br />C. Employer Services that recognize business as a customer as well as a source for jobs <br />leading to meaningful employment. <br /> <br />D. Universal access for all job seekers to a core set of career decision-making and job <br />search tools; <br /> <br />E. Increase accountability of the deliyery system to achieye improyed results regarding <br />skill gains, credentials earned, job placement rates, earnings and retention in <br />employment; <br /> <br />F. State and local flexibility to ensure that deliyery systems are responsiye to the needs <br />of indiYidual communities; and <br /> <br />G. Strong role for local boards and the private sector to impact the design and operation <br />of deliyery systems. <br /> <br />Page 2 <br />
