Follow up services will be proYided for one year <br />following placement in unsubsidized employment. <br /> <br />The purpose of these follow-up services and actiYities is to ensure that <br />Veterans who have exited oyercome any problems that may arise during this <br />critical period, and to ensure further progress toward long-term employment and <br />self-sufficiency. These services are pivotal to the employment success for <br />customers and the attainment of the desired performance standards. <br />Performance standards shall be defined in Exhibit C of this Agreement. <br /> <br />5) During the retention period, the Contractor must ensure that the Veteran <br />remains employed and if they lose their job during this time, shall immediately <br />work with the Veteran so they can secure new employment. Contractor shall <br />proYide one-on-one counseling during follow-up contacts that will focus on <br />identifying and eliminating any barriers that may be preyenting a customer from <br />successfully retaining a job, and encourage the Veteran to attend workshops <br />related to specific methods for retaining employment, enhancing skills and <br />fostering self-sufficiency. <br /> <br />6) After Exit, contact must be made to determine a client's employment and <br />educational skills. The indiyidual's MIS records shall be completed at 30 days, <br />60 days, and the first, second, and third quarter of the year after the client exits <br />from the program. Contractor shall follow all written policies and procedures <br />pertaining to MIS submission of paperwork - 04-0CWDA-10, OCWDA-66, and <br />OCWDA 03-08. <br /> <br />7) Contractor shall document in the customer's file employment in the first, second <br />and third quarters of the year after exiting through one of the following data <br />bases: UI wage records, WRIS, supplemental data sources as defined in TEGL <br />7-99 or through the State of California's Management Information System. <br /> <br />8) Contractor, along with Coast Community College District, the Workforce <br />Inyestment Board of the City of Anaheim, the Orange County Board of <br />Supervisors and yarious chambers of commerce, will conduct a campaign to <br />encourage and support the hiring of Veterans in the industry clusters identified <br />as high-growth and high-demand. <br /> <br />IV. SERVICE STANDARDS <br /> <br />A. Caseloads: Contractor will proYide a .50 FTE Workforce Specialist who will <br />maintain a caseload of 25 Veterans. This Specialist will haye expertise in working <br />with the Veteran population. <br /> <br />B. Hours of Operation: One-Stop Centers will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm <br />Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />Page 7 of 11 <br />
