<br />What are your hours of operation? <br />Program schedule is <br />Tuesday/Thursday 4pm-6pm. <br />Saturdays I Oam-] 2pm. <br /> <br />How has the organization assured that the location is a safe and youth friendly <br />environment? <br />The studIO facility is a 3000 square foot state of fue art commercial recording studio It is <br />equipped with all the latest digital recording equipment used for professional studio <br />recording. <br />This envIronment allows for not only a true professional experience for the partIcipants, <br />but also a safe and creative setting that is supervised by adult instructors, volunteers and <br />mentors. These are indIviduals who are professionals in their respective fields of expertise, <br />and who have training and experience in working with at risk and adjudicated youth By <br />providing computer work stations equipped with the latest software in digital recording, <br />youth are exposed to user friendly software programs which allow a positive and emiching <br />artistic environment. <br /> <br />Is the facility compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA)? Describe <br />corrective action plan if not. <br />The studio facility is compliant with the ADA requirements. We are currently in the <br />process of posting new signs for two disabled parking spaces, and an international <br />wheelchair access sigr in our front entrance. <br /> <br />About Your Organization <br /> <br />Description of the Proposer <br />How long has your organization been serving Santa Ana youth? <br />Since 2002- 4 yrs <br /> <br />What kind of impact has your services made to the youth in the community? <br />Project RYTMO has impacted the youth in the community in three major ways: <br />. Providing a professional artistic environment where youth can develop occupational <br />skills and life skills that are necessary in the working community. This has directly <br />impacted both the Anaheim community, (which has a high rate of gang activity and <br />violence), and the surrounding cities, including Santa Ana (35% of our participants <br />are residents of Santa Ana). By providing our services to youth during critical hours <br />when they might be prone to negative influences and behavior, youth engage m <br />productive activities that keep them away from unproductive activities. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Providing positive role models through one to one adult mentoring. These help to <br />build healthy self-esteem, stronger family values, and productive citizens within the <br />cOlmnunity. <br /> <br />dO <br />
