Exercise and Evaluation <br />Goal <br />Develop present and participate in training classes and exercises <br />Ob ectives• <br />• Participate in SEMS/NIMS training. <br />• Establish and implement an all- hazards progressive exercise program <br />• Complete after action reports. <br />• Implement corrective actions. <br />Descrintion: <br />The County of Orange/Emergency Management Bureau, as the Orange County Operational <br />Area, will continue to provide SEMS/NIMS training to the employees of both the County of <br />Orange and the 114 jurisdictions within the Operational Area. The EMB will continue to <br />coordinate the annual Operational Area Exercise, as well as participate/coordinate in various <br />exercises throughout the grant performance period. After Action Reports will be completed at <br />the conclusion of each exercise and corrective actions will be identified. <br />Performance Measures: <br />These activities will continue throughout the grant performance period from October 1, 2005 to <br />September 30, 2006. <br />Proiect #4Emereencv Response <br />Goal <br />Establish or enhance emergency operations facilities, equipment and capabilities. <br />Ob ectives• <br />• In coordination with State OES Regions, develop Emergency Manager's Mutual Aid <br />(EMMA) EOC support teams. <br />• Develop after action reports. <br />• Implement corrective actions. <br />• Ensure a smooth transition from Response to Recovery. <br />• Improve communications with OES constituents, legislators and special interest groups. <br />Description: <br />The County of Orange/Emergency Management Bureau, as the Orange County Operational <br />Area, will develop an EOC support team and coordinate with local jurisdictions to offer, at the <br />jurisdiction's request, an Operational Area representative to field/local EOC operations for <br />emergency situations which do not require full activation of the Operational Area EOC. At the <br />conclusion of an Operational Area EOC activation, the EMB will complete an After Action <br />Report and identify and implement corrective actions which may need to be taken. <br />Performance Measures: <br />These activities will continue throughout the grant performance period from October 1, 2005 to <br />September 30, 2006. <br />Page 7 of 51 <br />
