Always wear full uniform - vest, hat, proper shoes, I.D. <br />2. Give everyone instructions to wait until called. <br />3. Give everyone instructions to "look both ways." <br />4. Give everyone instructions to walk bikes, skateboards, ete. <br />5. Wait for signal or break in traffic before starting cross. <br />6. Look LEFf-RIGIIT -LEFf for danger before leaving carb. <br />7. Ensure students wait on curb until called into crosswalIc. <br />8. Use two-handed cross with free hand extended to give <br />STOP signal and STOP sign held high above head. <br />9. Take position along edge of crosswalk nearest center of <br />Intersection. <br />10. Prevent vehicle;; from entering crosswalk - especially <br />tunning vehicles. <br />11. Remain in crosswalk and control vehicles until <br />pedestrians are safely on opposite curb. <br />12. Hold STOP sign above head until you are on curb. <br />13. Use whistle only for emergency STOP signal- one long <br />blast. <br />14. Cross everyone who allows you to cross them safely. <br />15.
