The bids for the top two firms were <br />opened. <br />The firm of Harris and Associates submitted a proposal of $57,000. In <br />addition their services will include an analysis of the most recent <br />pavement management system to determine if our assumptions and estimates of <br />our backlog are accurate and an analysis of new emerging pavement <br />technologies that might be utilized to reduce reconstruction and <br />maintenance costs. The total amount also includes a 20% contingency. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />There is no environmental impact associated with this action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Residential Street Improvement Fund (account <br />no. 58-551-6631). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />James G.
