<br />appointment and removal in accordance with section 901 of the Charter of the <br />City of Santa Ana. The alternate members shall serve on the commission in the <br />absence of any regular member. <br /> <br />Section 3. Section 2-451 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended <br />to read as follows (new language in bold, deleted language in strikeout for tracking <br />purposes only): <br /> <br />Sec. 2-451. Requirements of Membership. <br /> <br />Each member of the youth commission shall be a student enrolled and attending <br />school, as well as a resident of the City of Santa Ana. Regular members shall be ages <br />16 to 20. Alternate members shall be ages 14 to 18.Associate members shall be ages <br />11 t014. Should any member cease to reside within the City of Santa Ana, cease to be a <br />student enrolled and attending a school, or exceed the age limit for their respective class <br />of membership, his/her office shall automatically be vacated. All prospective members <br />under the age of 18 shall provide written proof of parental or guardian permission to <br />qualify for appointment. <br /> <br />Section 4. Section 2-325 U) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby <br />amended to read as follows (new language in bold, deleted language in strikeout for <br />tracking purposes only): <br /> <br />Sec. 2-325. Compensation for members of boards, commissions. <br /> <br />The members of the following boards and commissions of the city shall receive <br />the compensation as set forth herein: <br /> <br />(a) Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission, fifty dollars <br />($50.00) per meeting, three (3) meetings maximum per month, plus <br />twenty dollars ($20.00) per month automobile allowance. <br /> <br />(b) Personnel Board, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting. <br /> <br />(c) Planning Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, three (3) <br />meetings maximum per month, plus fifty dollars ($50.00) per month <br />automobile allowance. <br /> <br />(d) Historic Resources Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, <br />two (2) meetings maximum per month. <br /> <br />(e) Board of Recreation and Parks, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, <br />two (2) meetings maximum per month. <br /> <br />(f) Human Relations Commission, fifty dollars ($50.00) per meeting, <br />twenty-four (24) meetings maximum, annually. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. NS-2737 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
