252 <br />COUNCIL AGENDA ITEM <br />Kim McPeck supported the new high school at Centennial Park. <br />Following public comments, Council discussion ensued. <br />Motion: Support the development of a high school on portions of <br />Centennial Park in partnership with the Santa Ana Unified School <br />District subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The satisfactory resolution of the School District's issues with the <br />Discovery Museum of Orange County. <br />2. The development of a joint use agreement between the City of Santa <br />Ana and the Santa Ana Unified School District for the use of facilities <br />developed on the City's Centennial Park property. <br />3. The development of a design, which would maximize the <br />community's use of the new facilities. <br />4. The development of a design that would exclude fencing and other <br />restrictions for the community's long term use of the facilities. <br />5. Receive all necessary approvals from federal, state and county <br />agencies. <br />6.
