Page 32, Item a — remove the following language: graffiti eradication/over painting of bleachers, backboards, <br />fencing, signs, etc. - <br />Page 33, Item 12-c — change to read as follows: Once a week the Contractor shall top dress unleveled areas of the <br />sport turf playing areas using #20 Silica Sand or approved product. Apply with an approved top dressing machine <br />that will achieve a level playing surface. <br />Page 33, Item 14-a — change to read as follows: All trash and debris on the ground or in trash receptacles shall be <br />removed from all worksites each day, Monday through Sunday, between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. <br />Page 34, Item 16 — Special Maintenance, insert the following as Items b through f: <br />b) Jerome Park — Center Street, between the existing posts shall be the contractor's responsibility to <br />maintain. Also, Center Street parking lot between McFadden Avenue and the posts to the south are the <br />Contractor's responsibility. <br />c) Centennial Park — The fire training facility landscaping is a part of this agreement. Amount will be deducted from monthly invoice. In addition, a penalty <br />up to $300 will be assessed when inspections conducted show apparent Failure to Perform. <br />What amount, on the average, has City withheld from contractors in the past for failure to perform? <br />Do not have specific dollar amount at this time. It is assumed that the contractor chosen will perform high <br />quality work and will possess the resources to meet the minimum specifications. <br />Does the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Agency have the capacity to push through a bid that isn't <br />the lowest? <br />Yes. The Parks and Recreation Agency has selected the RFP process, as opposed to a bid, as the <br />procurement tool to select the landscape contractors. --- <br />
