Provide S/O candidates for screening and interviews by Post Commander and Depot Manager <br />Provide S/O candidates to be assigned solely to The Depot facility. <br />Remove security officer from post as required by Post Commander or requested by Depot Management. <br />Provide telephone /2 -way radio equipment compatible with the Nextel equipment already in place at The <br />Depot at Santa. This will enable the security officer to contact the Post Commander, fire, Police, Depot <br />Maintenance, Depot Management, etc immediately, in the event of an unusual situation or emergency. <br />Cellular phones are not acceptable. <br />Provide an adequate number of complete company uniforms including jackets, head and rain gear so that <br />all security officers can make an exceptional presence. This uniform must clearly identify security officers <br />as employed by the Contractor and shall be worn at all times during shift. ID badges will be required. <br />Provide all document and stationary supplies needed for the successful running of this post. This means <br />adequate supplies of DAR's, IR's ink cartridges for printer, printer paper, all pertinent forms, pens, writing <br />pads, etc. THE CITY WILL NOT SUPPLY ANY SUPPLIES. <br />Insure that security officers carry no firearms <br />Conduct at least one (1) unannounced supervisory inspection during the day shifts, and at least one (1) <br />unannounced supervisory inspection during each evening shift. Supervisor is responsible for checking in <br />with Post Commander in person or by radio during each visit. A report of visit will be left with Depot <br />security officer and turned into Post Commander along with other daily reports. <br />Make available and arrange for all cadre members to attend /use any teaching tools, seminars, on -line <br />tutorials, workshops etc. that will enrich their knowledge and make them more successful in their duties at <br />The Depot at Santa Ana. <br />Be responsible for all training of security officers to assure compliance with all federal, state and local <br />requirements pertinent to their position at The Depot at Santa Ana. <br />Arrange and make available all security officers assigned to The Depot for a once a month meeting with <br />the Post Commander and manager of the facility. <br />The contractor shall provide candidates for the Post Commander position that can carry out the <br />following responsibilities: <br />This post requires a Post Commander that leads by example. Always ready to help at all times. <br />Ability to lead a cadre of 6 security officers in a clear, concise and deliberate manner. <br />Familiarity with computers and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. <br />Hire and train all new personnel. <br />Monitor all security officer activity <br />Be available to stand a post if necessary. <br />Collect and read all information from security officers. <br />Visit officers on a regular basis, while on duty, to guide and counsel them in all phases of their job. <br />Download and print all TOCO reports making sure these report match DARs <br />
