T� Resolve problems with officers whether it is counseling, warnings, write -ups or removal from post. Coordinate and assign duties for four shifts per day 365 days per year. Ability to keep files and document all events pertaining to this post. Ability to instill loyalty in security officers by using their ideas and suggestions. Require a well- rounded, smart, clean, well- informed security officer cadre. Provide approved and trained back up personnel who can replace scheduled personnel in emergencies. Ability to rearrange Security personnel to cover open posts, if needed, at a moments notice. Provide additional services and personnel, as required. Ability to lead by example by being always professional and ready to back up Security officers within cadre. The contractor shall provide candidates for positions with THE DEPOT at Santa Ana Security Officer cadre that can be responsible for the following: This is an observe- and -report post only. Never attempt to apprehend or physically detain any individual THE DEPOT at Santa Ana Security Officer is just that. Security Officer is not a translator, baggage handler, messenger, waiter or maintenance person. Ability to come to work in a "squared away' uniform and always have that clean well dressed appearance, complete with clean shoes, etc, NON - COMPLIANT OFFICERS WILL BE SENT HOME. Ability to interface with traveling public, visitors and tenants in a highly professional manner at all times. Be present on site, at all times, subject to the immediate direction of the Post Commander. Patrol perimeter of entire facility, parking lots, parking structure, pedestrian bridge, east and west platforms and all approaches onto the property at least every hour, not including TOCO patrols. Patrol restrooms, main floor lobby, train loading areas, balconies and upper floors of the building, as needed. When The Depot is closed, maintain in lockdown mode unless an emergency arises and only at the direction of Post Commander or Depot Management. When The Depot is closed, be available to travelers that may have parked in the parking structure and will need to be escorted into the structure to retrieve their vehicle. Assure that unauthorized taxis, limousines, buses, etc. do not assemble on or adjacent to The Depot property. Record activity of offenders in DAR and notify Post Commander. Provide vehicle and parking control throughout the facility as needed. Surveillance of trains, buses and passenger movement will be required. Assist all members of the public in a courteous manner. Identify and escort unauthorized persons or vagrants off the property. Summon and assist law enforcement officers when there is sufficient cause for investigation or arrest 10
