Prepare detailed, written incident reports when anything involving Police, Sheriff's Department, Fire <br />Department or other agency occurs. <br />At designated times, lock down or open the entire facility. This will include main building, parking structure <br />and pedestrian bridge accesses. <br />Perform all the services set forth in the attached Contract and related Post Instructions. <br />Notify Post Commander when a problem requires immediate attention outside of security officer's scope <br />of work. <br />Make written reports detailing any burnt -out lights, improperly working doors and /or locks, building leaks <br />or leaks of any kind, any abnormality in function of mechanical, electrical or plumbing systems, graffiti <br />locations, suspected or observed theft or vandalism. <br />Observe other contractors performing work on the premises. <br />Assist management during special events by directing mobile or pedestrian traffic and crowd control. <br />Give routine information to public upon request. <br />Raise and lower flags at dawn and dusk <br />Perform any other related work as required. <br />When necessary cooperate with and give access to service areas to other contractor personnel and <br />report when service is done. <br />Use time clock upon arrival and again to clock out at end of shift. Payment of company invoices will be <br />based on these timecards. <br />Use of the Unsecured Vehicle Sheet is required when a vehicle is found open or unsecured in any way. <br />Report of this activity will be made in the DAR. <br />Use the Nextel Phone /Radio for security work at The Depot only. Private business must be conducted <br />away from the job site. No use of private cell phones allowed unless prior authorization has been <br />secured. <br />Provide both interior and exterior rounds /patrols of assigned areas. <br />It is hereby noted that the duties and responsibilities of Security Officers and post Commander include, <br />but are not limited to, the above. Policy and procedure changes and additions made by the Depot <br />Management, will be appropriately conveyed by the Manager to the Post Commander and will be <br />followed by all Security Officers. <br />MITAL PERSONNEL INFORMATION <br />Because of the sensitivity of the security officer function, the City requires that the Santa Ana Police Dept <br />conduct its own background checks. The City will maintain cards on each officer containing the following <br />information. <br />(1) Name of Security officer <br />(2) Permanent Address <br />(3) Telephone Number <br />(4) Social Security Number <br />(5) California Class "D" Security Officer license number <br />
