(6) Drivers License Number and Issuing State or Photo ID <br />(7) Location(s) Where Trained (8) Date Training Completed <br />Each time an Officer is hired the Contractor will forward a letter to THE DEPOT AT SANTA ANA <br />Management office within five days before the Officer's training commences. The letter shall contain the <br />information above, items one (1) through seven (7) and any other information required to conduct <br />background checks as may be required by the Santa Ana Police Department. The Facility Management <br />Representative will prepare a permanent card from the information provided in the letter. A card will be <br />retained for which an Officer is certified as trained to perform duties. Santa Ana Police Department's <br />clearance will be granted before any person can begin training or report for duty. <br />When a Security officer with an active card on file ceases to be assigned to duty at THE DEPOT at Santa <br />Ana, for the City, the Contractor shall so inform the City immediately. <br />POST INSTRUCTION <br />PURPOSE <br />Provide THE DEPOT AT SANTA ANA (THE DEPOT) visible deterrence against crimes of vandalism, theft <br />and bodily injury on a twenty -four hour basis. <br />GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS/ POST PROCEDURES <br />A. Vehicle Control /Parkina Control <br />1. All vehicles are to park in marked spaces. Be alert for vehicles parked in loading zones, cab and <br />bus zones, or double - parked. <br />2. Keep handicapped and Greyhound package express parking free of illegal parking. <br />3. Security personnel are to park their vehicles Parking Structure. Personnel are forbidden to be in <br />or around their vehicle during shift. This activity will result in removal from post. <br />B. Visitor Control <br />The Depot is the central travel hub for Orange County and as such experiences great numbers of <br />travelers at all hours of the day and night. We also have government offices in the building that attract <br />additional numbers of visitors. A courteous, professional and well- informed demeanor is required. <br />C. Depot Lock Function /Close Facility <br />Lock - down /close of Depot facilities will be done at 12 midnight, seven days a week. <br />2. Main Building - Lock all outside perimeter entry doors, main lobby restroom doors and gates to <br />Courtyard. Turn off all designated lights. <br />3. Parking Structure - Lock all parking structure perimeter doors and rolling gate. <br />12 <br />
