Scope of Work
Although the scope of this project appears large, rest assured that we are more than
capable to handle the requirements of this project. It was brought to my attention that
HydroBlast was one of the few companies in The City of Santa Ana's history to actually
complete a five year agreement. This alone should be reason enough to gain your
confidence when assigning this contract. However, rest assured that we will not rest on
our laurels. We will not work hard to gain your trust and then sit back and enjoy the
fruits of our labors as so many other companies do. We realize that signing on with The
City of Santa Ana is not the end of working, but the beginning of a challenging
relationship that requires constant care and attention. As well, we realize and appreciate
the benefits to a contract of this size and will do all we can to continue servicing your
needs.
Materials and Provisions
For the duration of this contract, HydroBlast will furnish all the tools, equipment, labor,
vehicles, chemicals, materials, transportation and supervision to manage and perform
these operations. Completing this and other projects in the past has allowed us to obtain
the resources, manpower and experience to handle these set forth needs. It is our
responsibility to provide our employees with the proper tools and equipment for them to
complete their assigned tasks. The City of Santa Ana will not be responsible for
providing these resources, as well as managing our employees or the storage of our
vehicles or equipment.
Cleanine Process and Completion Criteria
All the hardscape surfaces within the perimeter of the bid walk performed on March 20,
2007 as well as attached addendums, will be cleaned one time every month, with the
exception of areas specifically acknowledged to be done more frequent. This includes all
concrete surfaces, side walks, walk ways, concrete paths, quads, patios, fountain areas,
brick walk ways and side walks, concrete drive ways, handicap ramps, side entries, steps,
cross walks, building entries, benches, parking garages, directory signs, common grounds,
and reflection pools.
All above mentioned surfaces will be cleaned 100% free of dirt, gum, trash, debris, tar,
stains, oil, grease, graffiti, blood, feces, vomit, broken glass, tree droppings, bird
droppings, food residue, liquid, stains and other foreign materials.
After completion of the cleaning process, all excess water will be removed either by
squeegee or vacuum, and hauled off site for proper disposal. This will insure that there
are no free standing water puddles and will prevent any potential slip and fall situations as
3
