The <br />PSR/PR, Geometric Approval Drawings (GAD) and Fact Sheets shall be <br />submitted by the Consultant to Caltrans for their review and approval. <br />G. Traffic Management Plan — Prepare a Traffic Management Plan (TMP) in <br />conformance with Caltrans requirements and approval to address traffic <br />impacts during construction. The TMP will contain all identified impacts <br />and required mitigation for the traffic impacts. <br />H. PS &E Preparation <br />Upon receiving City of Santa Ana, City of Irvine, and Caltrans approval of <br />the PSR/PR, consultant shall prepare the necessary PS &E documents <br />ready for bidding. The design within the Caltrans right -of -way shall follow <br />all applicable Caltrans standards. Design located within the city of Irvine <br />or Santa Ana limits shall follow their respective design standards. <br />The following shall be included: <br />1. Management & Adminstration — Continued efforts as- described in Item <br />A above through the completion of the PS &E documents. <br />2. Survey and Mapping — Design level survey shall be provided in full <br />conformance with Caltrans Surveys Manual requirements and shall <br />include, but not limited to, the following: <br />a. Obtain City and Caltrans survey control <br />b. Recover, tie and verify existing survey control <br />c. Provide additional secondary horizontal and vertical control for <br />design surveys. <br />d. Field topography within the project limits, including rim and <br />invert elevations of any sewer or storm drain facilities <br />encountered. <br />e. Cross sections at a minimum 50 -ft interval that shall extend a <br />minimum 200 -ft beyond proposed project join. <br />f. Establish record right -of -way adjacent to project site <br />3. Geotechnical Design Report and Materials Report — A licensed <br />Geotechnical Engineer shall prepare a Geotechnical Design Report <br />(GDR), a Pavement Design Report (PDR), and a Final Materials <br />Report. All reports shall be in accordance with Caltrans procedures, <br />regulations, manuals, standards, policies, and format. The pavement <br />structural sections shall be determined by a licensed Geotechnical <br />Engineer in accordance with Caltrans policies and procedures. Tasks <br />include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />a. The Consultant shall submit a geotechnical exploration plan for <br />City and Caltrans review, reflecting location and type of boring. <br />b. Sufficient borings and material samples shall be taken to <br />determine the road structural section and slope stability. <br />12 <br />
