d. The Consultant shall directly submit the PS &E at each milestone <br />to the project stakeholders. At each milestone, submit five (5) <br />copies of the PS &E and any reports to both the city of Santa <br />Ana and Irvine, along with the requisite number of copies <br />required by Caltrans District 12. <br />e. Consultant shall submit the requisite number of plan sets to the <br />utilities for review of conflicts. <br />f. The Consultant shall a complete Resident Engineers file at the <br />conclusion of design, including a copy of all third -party <br />correspondence, utility logs, cross sections, survey data file, etc. <br />pertinent for the Resident Engineer as described in the Caltrans <br />PDPM. <br />Construction Support Activities <br />The consultant shall provide support services during the bidding and <br />construction phases of the project, including: <br />1. Consultant shall respond to bidder inquiries during the bidding process, <br />including preparation of any addenda (assume 2). Upon award of the <br />construction contract, Consultant shall attend the pre- construction <br />meeting. <br />2. Consultant shall review and approve all submittals and shop plan <br />drawings required supporting the construction contract. Consultant <br />shall complete shop drawings reviews within two (2) weeks of receipt. <br />Contract Change Order reviews shall be completed within two (2) <br />working days of receipt. <br />3. Consultant shall respond to written Requests for Information (RFI) to <br />provide clarification or resolve discrepancies in the contract <br />documents. Responses shall be completed within three (3) working <br />days. <br />4. Consultant shall provide periodic field reviews along with Consultant <br />shall bring to the attention of the City any defects or deficiencies in the <br />work by the construction contractor which the Consultant may observe. <br />Consultant shall have no authority to issue instruction on behalf of the <br />City, or to deputize another to do so. <br />5. The Consultant shall prepare and deliver to the City the final as -built <br />plans incorporating field marked prints supplied by the City. Upon <br />completion of construction, the City will submit field- marked prints to <br />Consultant. Consultant shall incorporate all changes to the plans <br />electronically with all necessary revision notations and submit to the <br />City. As- builts located within the Caltrans right -of -way shall meet State <br />requirements and submitted to Caltrans. <br />16 <br />
