Our goal will be to have <br />( 1 <br />continuous access to all area businesses along MacArthur. <br />• Traffic Management Plan <br />Transportation Management Plans (TMP) are required for all reconstruction projects <br />which anticipate potentially significant construction delays. If required, this TMP will <br />recommend specific measures to help facilitate traffic specifically during the recon- <br />struction of the intersection of ramps at MacArthur Boulevard. <br />Traffic Signal and Ramp Metering Modification <br />Traffic signals and ramp meters will be designed in accordance with the latest ver- <br />sion of the California Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and will utilize <br />the Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications whenever possible. We will meet with <br />Caltrans and City engineering staff prior to design to determine their preferences re- <br />garding specified equipment, and signal layout. A traffic signal modification plan will <br />be created for the existing signal at NB loop on -ramp vicinity. <br />Sign Plans <br />Traffic signage and striping will be designed in accordance with the latest version of <br />the California Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and utilize the Caltrans <br />Standard Plans and Specifications. <br />Electrical and Lighting Plans <br />Existing street lighting plans will be reviewed and if modification is required along <br />street and on- ramps, the plan will be prepared per standard. <br />Highway Planting and Irrigation Plans <br />If required to repair disturbed areas, landscape plan and irrigation will be provided. <br />Task 10 - 100% Design Phase <br />This submittal incorporates final comments from agency reviews and the Caltrans <br />safety review. Upon approval of the final PS &E and issuance of a permit by Caltrans <br />and the City, the project is ready to be advertised. <br />Resident Engineer (RE) File <br />After the PS &E is approved, we will prepare the RE file which will be forward to the <br />contractor after award. The RE file will consists of any pertinent project data required <br />to administer the construction contract. <br />PHASE 3.0 - CONSTRUCTION PHASE (SUPPORT) <br />PBS &J will provide support and assistance during the project bidding phase and dur- <br />ing the construction of the project. <br />Project Close Out <br />We will incorporate as -built markups into the final record drawings for the Ci <br />PBS &J...
